It’s back! On December 3, 2025, we hosted the fourth edition of Event Fresh—a gathering of event professionals and community members brought together for an evening of meaningful connection and conversation. If you were there, you’ll never forget the joy that filled the room or the effortless energy of our spacious venue, Ederer Hall in SODO. If you missed it, consider this your insider look at Seattle’s best-kept secret—and a preview of what’s waiting for you next year! 😉

Event Fresh began as a simple idea: creating a more inclusive, connected, and values-driven space for people in the events industry. Over the years, it has grown into something truly special—an annual gathering where intention is felt, community shows up, and creative professionals come together not just to promote what they do, but to genuinely connect in a fun, welcoming space filled with joy, laughter, and bright energy.

Event professionals, small business owners, and creative partners gathered not to compete for attention, but to introduce their worlds to one another—sharing ideas, making thoughtful impressions, and supporting each other in real time. Every detail of the evening was designed to encourage conversation, spark collaboration, and make everyone feel genuinely welcome, reminding us that the most impactful events are built on human connection.

The night came together under the creative direction of hosts Sadie Schnitzler of DIWAS Photography, Jake Taylor of Functions and Gatherings, and Alex Martin of Synchronicity Events.

Together with our friends and event partners we created a room filled with connection, intention and joy. Kendra Lidell was at the door to greet you with a smile to get you checked in & ready for your evening of fun! Guests had the pleasure of getting immersed in the Functions & Gatherings table illustrating how you can dress up your next party or wedding with offbeat sparkle and moody glam.

Our incredible event partners, Pedersen’s Rentals supported the evening by providing gorgeous party-ready linens and furniture that create the perfect ambience for any occasion.

Guests enjoyed a visit to the Dress Up Box, a photo portrait experience as creative and fun as the props they bring!

As you entered the main event space, Tyler with Reckless Abandon Tarot gave readings of truth and mystery, connecting us with our inner desires and overcoming obstacles for a brighter future.🔮 Creamy Cone Ice Cream dared to say it’s OK to eat dessert before dinner and started us all off with delicious ice cream samples!

We all know screen printing is an intricate skill to master, but Mary Anne with Party Hat created an effortless and immersive screen printing experience rewarding participants with bright & festive tote bags! Crimson Haze delighted guests with warm and welcoming event lighting and showcased an incredible portfolio of possibilities at their booth.

Curly Flowers Designs created delicate and unique floral designs out of dried cut flowers you can wear - a personal and festive touch.

The “foodies” got a real treat from That Brown Girl Cooks, DayoSense Catering & Madres Kitchen – scrumptious hand held bites that give you the energy you need to enjoy any gathering! Onstage our talented Emcee Aliesha Pulliam hosted our program with heart and pulled it all together.

No party would be complete without incredible music & performers that know how to move and groove! DJ HerShe stole our hearts with impeccable mixing and Splinter Dance group kicked off the night with an unforgettably fun dance act. Then Magical Melody performed a pretty-in-pink roller skating & song set that inspired and ignited the crowd! Closing the evening Rhythm of the People showcased their deep house moves and left us speechless with their twists and turns.

Lighting may set the mood, but sound brings the room to life — and our friends at Elite Collective were on the job with a full pro audio system.

What’s an event without a little branding!? Emberi Collective showcased their incredible graphic design and branding expertise, highlighting how a strong brand presence is key to any successful event, while Jen of Green Fern Studio added the perfect finishing touch with her custom-engraved wine bottle stoppers that guests got to take home.

As we all know, storytelling is another key aspect of any successful event. Universe Imagery really took us on a journey highlighting their video content expertise and our event partner DIWAS Photography drew folks in with their professional story-driven photography. 📷

Event Fresh is an ongoing invitation to gather, learn from one another, and grow side by side. Together, we’re building something bigger than a single event. We are creating a stronger, more intentional future for Seattle’s events community, rooted in excellence, collaboration, and genuine human connection.

We can’t wait to continue this work next winter, and would love to welcome you into the community as it continues to evolve.
