A Year Defined by Joy: Our 2025 Reflection

As we close out 2025, we want to pause and extend our sincere gratitude to our Synchronicity clients, partners, collaborators, and communities. This year challenged many of us—but it also clarified something essential.
The theme that guided our work in 2025 was JOY.
Not joy as surface-level celebration, but as a deliberate practice: levity, human connection, curiosity, and shared meaning. No matter how complex the subject matter or how heavy the circumstances, we believe an event cannot truly succeed without these elements woven into its foundation.

This year made sustaining joy more difficult—and more necessary. We made a conscious commitment to show up to every call, every production meeting, and every event day with authentic curiosity. Curiosity about how we could connect more deeply with you, your mission, and the people you serve. Curiosity about how to create space for enjoyment, playfulness, and possibility—even in serious moments.
Because the events we help bring to life are never superficial. They are not celebrations for the sake of celebration. They are expressions of real work, real impact, and real community.
Where We See Joy in the Work

We witness joy in the sparkle of a kickoff call—when ideas begin to take shape and we discover what will make your event truly distinctive.
We see it in the planning and pre-production stages where we align the carefully picked pieces to fit all aspects of your event and create inclusion & belonging in a community of peers and like minded individuals.
We feel it in the bone-deep satisfaction of watching you succeed: launching a bold innovation, telling a powerful story, or reaching an ambitious goal on event day.

We experience it at the end of the night, after the guests have departed and the vendors have loaded out—sharing a quiet moment, a hug on the loading dock, before heading home.
And we recognize it in the validation that, even briefly, in a shared space and time, your people experienced a genuine sense of connection—one that allowed them to imagine positive possibilities together.

We hold joy at the center of our work because the way we do small things is the way we do all things.
Every detail matters. Every interaction matters. And we genuinely love doing the small parts—and all the parts—of this work with you.
As we step into a new year, we carry this commitment forward: to lead with intention, to create with care, and to continue building events rooted in connection, meaning, and joy.
To our clients: thank you for trusting us with your work, your stories, and your communities. We look forward to what we will create together next as we continue to show up and do the work in 2026.
